Who hasn’t had a crush on a celebrity? They’re beautiful, rich, charismatic, and they seem so far above the rest of us “mere mortals,” that one hardly expects to ever see, or meet, or actually exchange words with their idol. Steve Harvey, best know for hosting popular game show Family Feud, met his current wife while doing a gig at a local comedy club. Marjorie was a big fan of his and that fateful night when he spotted her in the audience resulted in 10 years (and counting) of blissful marriage.

Wiz Khalifa’s had a life-long admirer in Amber Rose. She loved his music so much, that not even her relationship with Kanye West stopped her from praising Khalifa in interviews. So, naturally, the two of them eventually got together and got married in 2013. Sadly, they have divorced, but are still on friendly terms.

Matt was sitting in a bar on a night out with friends. He looked across the room and saw Luciana, their eyes met, and the rest is history. As it turned out she was a big fan of his. They got married in 2005, and according to Matt, one of the reasons for their successful marriage is the fact that she isn’t a celebrity. He said, “I got lucky. I fell in love with a civilian.”
