Heavy rain in central and southern Taiwan has caused flooding, killing at least 7 people and injuring 116 others.
A low-pressure system brought downpours from Thursday through Sunday.
The cities of Chiayi and Tainan saw more than 300 millimeters of rain. Some areas observed up to 900 millimeters.
Footage aired by a local broadcaster shows people cleaning up inundated houses and using boats to deliver food.
Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen visited the affected areas to see the extent of damage. Some residents voiced complaints directly to her.
Weather officials warn it will continue to rain on Monday.
